Why?
You're on this post, so you probably already know what Cursor is and what you get with it, and that kind of feels lacking in Neovim...

I have been using GVim for over around 2 years. I don't do much coding, it's mostly for text editing and I don't have any issues with this so far. Also the Neovim ecosystem is so vast and I don't think anyone would want to ever shift the mindset.
But all that's being done here is installing two more plugins to the workflow. It's not like you're completely modifying nvim, though.
Ohoo, Neovim nerd sathi! π ASCOL ko aan baan saan ho tme.
Thank you, sathi! π
You can't ever convince me to use Neovim! I'm not a CLI person. I prefer GUI as much as you guys hate it. π₯²
LOLLLL. CLI is loveeeeeeeeeely.
Can't agree more. I can't stand GUIs! π¬
I guess it's time for a change! π DevOps pretty much already requires you to use CLI, so trying to adapt to CLI more seems more promising to me, though.
God I loved using just Vim for everything. Miss being a Nix sys admin in the 90's.
Vim is love. Once, out of curiosity, I watched a Vim video that appeared on my YouTube feed, and since then, no other code editors, just Vim...
Folks, share your thoughts in the comments! With just 2 plugins, you can enjoy the full Cursor + Neovim experience. π₯
I'll be using this for a while, and let me know if you'd like to try it too!
